Deontay Wilder has proved again to be a major challenger for the unification bouts .

The American has defended his WBC world heavyweight title for the tenth time after knocking out Cuba’s Luiz Ortiz in the seventh around in a rematch at the Legendary MGM Venue in Las Vegas .

After several postponement , their first bout between the American and Cuban happened at the Barclay Center on March 3 2018 with the Bronze Bomber emerging victorious in a thrilling fight to the delight of the spectators with both boxers praising one another .

Last night in Las Vegas , Wilder has moved 41-1-0 with his mind focus on the unification bouts after the rematch bout with Tyson Fury in February .

“We have Tyson Fury the rematch next. It’s set to be done in February so we will see how that goes and then after that I am looking for a unification bout.

“The heavyweight division is too small to have so many belts lingering around, there should be one champion and I think I am the perfect man for that job.”

According to the scorecards before Wilder brutally knock-out Ortiz , the Cuban was four rounds clear on two of the cards and two rounds on the other .
