NOC’s Morenike Obi-Farinde joins ITTF Tribunal


A member of Nigeria Olympics Committee, Morenike Obi-Farinde, has joined six others as pioneer members of the newly formed ITTF Tribunal to serve a two-year term.



The tribunal, which consists of seven independent arbitrators with wide range experience in sport-related matters would hear and decide on matters on a case-by-case basis.



According to the Chairman of ITTF Nomination Committee, Barrister Enitan Oshodi, who was part of the 2020 ITTF Annual General Meeting to amend the ITTF Constitution and enact the ITTF Tribunal Regulations, said, the federation has made an excellent decision that would elevate the body.



“The ITTF in going down this road has made an excellent decision that will elevate our federation and our sport at large. I am totally assured of the quality these men and women will bring to our sport.”

Morenike Obi-Farinde, who is the managing partner of ADIGUN OGUNSEITAN and company, is an alumnus of the Universities of Jos and Lagos where she obtained her LLB (Hons) and LLM degrees respectively.



She is also the Founder of the ODRAfrica Network and a certified on-line Mediator.
