On Thursday , the 68,000  capacity King Fahd Stadium in Saudi Arabia hosted the first-ever World Wrestling  Entertainment match that featured female wrestlers .

Superstars Lacey Evans and Natalya Evans from WWE made history as the first ever women to compete in a wrestling match in the muslim nation . Both female wrestlers expressed their delight on twitter before the Crown Jewel match as Natalya emerged victorious .

Former boxing champion , Tyson Fury also competed defeating his opponent , Braun Strowman .

The Landmark event is one of the several steps the Saudi Government is taking in relaxing strict rules on women and entertainment .
