Busola Sofoluwe, wife of Late Green Eagles defender, Yisa Sofoluwe, has debunk rumours that her husband died of Covid 19.

 

“News that my husband died of COVID-19 isn’t true. Even when the doctor released him to us today (Wednesday), the man said it was not COVID-19 that killed him. He said he did not write anything like that, he said he did not know who told people that my husband died of COVID-19, that it wasn’t him,”

 

She said that her husband was paralysed before he eventually gave up the ghost at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital on Tuesday

“COVID-19 cannot paralyse a person. Immediately that thing happened, his two legs were paralysed; is that COVID-19? I don’t know where they got their COVID-19 story from,”

 

She further said she would sue anyone who write lies about her husband

 

“So, if they write that kind of thing, I will sue them, they should not lie, it is better for them to say the truth, they should please say the truth.

 

Sofoluwe died at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital after being diagnosed with mild cerebral atrophy, a brain disease, aged 53.
