The 15th Edition of the annual Aso Table Tennis Club national championship will hold on 4-8 May, 2021 , at the package B of the MKO Abiola National stadium in Abuja.
In a telephone chat, the secretary of the Club, Gbenga Ajulo , said the arrival day for athletes and officials is on the 4th of May, while accommodation will be provided for only state owned athletes.
The secretary also said mentioned that invitations has been extended to both the military and para-military federal organizations, which is in line with the policy that was introduced last year.
Meanwhile, the president of Nigeria Table Tennis Federation, Engr . Ishaku Tikon is optimistic that this year edition will be more competitive, he said this while speaking to our correspondent at the final day of a National open trial in Lagos.
He said the next point of action for the athletes after the trial will be the Aso Table Tennis National Champion , which is an avenue to showcase their mastery .
Azee Solanke is the defending Champion in the men’s category while Fatimo Bello holds the ace in the women’s category.
