Preparations are in top gear for the maiden edition of the 2019 Open Indoor Freestyle Archery Championship organized by the Lekki Archers Club .
The event , which is open to the general public is endorsed by the Lagos State Archery Association , Nigeria Archery Federation and the World Archery Africa , will take place at the Indoor Sports Hall of Rowe Park .
According to the Organiser , Ladipo Alapini , who is also the Technical Director of Lagos State Archery Association , said the event is aimed to showcase what Lekki Archers Club have been able to do in terms of training and also to solicit support from corporate organization .

The Championship , which will place on the 14th of December is divided into male and female category , with both categories having the opportunity to win half a million naira with trophies and medals .
